I’m Caroline, 36 and a big play enthusiast.

SO FRESH – PRE WILLIAM 😉

Many (very many!) years back I studied Early Years at University. I went on to work in different jobs from Play Manager for a charity for children with complex needs to running Children’s Centres in London Boroughs.

Play has always been a big passion of mine.

But when I left the early years sector to pursue my own business in a different field it got left behind. Fast forward 8 years later and with William’s arrival my passion for play is back!

William is an energetic boisterous 2 year old.

Most happy when causing me heart palpitations by diving off sofas backwards! He loves to be outdoors and really enjoys anything that involves pouring and scooping.

He has just discovered the words ‘snack’ and ‘ice cream’ and Pepper Pig. Wonderful!

We live on the outskirts of London/Kent with our sausage dog Lady who is possibly the only dog alive who doesn’t enjoy walking. Oh and not forgetting one very special person, Christian. William’s daddy and my long suffering husband who tolerates mountains of loo rolls everywhere for when the day comes I have inspiration for what to use them for!

Why?

Because I know what it’s like to have a longgg day stretched out in front of you and not have a clue what to do. Sometimes having a few ideas and tricks up your sleeve help make the day run that bit smoother.

I’m a huge advocate of learning through play. Children learn best when they’re having fun.

Above all though I want to have fun with William. It shocks me how quickly he is growing and developing. It’s amazing and scary all at once. These play ideas help us play and bond together. And if they can do that for you I will be so happy 🙂
