Cardboard Tube Post Drop

Wondering what to do with all those cardboard tubes you’ve collected?

Simply attach them to a vertical service and you’ve got yourself a great posting activity that will have toddlers and older kids excited. There’s something so satisfactory about ‘posting’ activities and kids find them hard to resist!

For this posting play I added cardboard tubes with tape to our tuff tray, but I’ve also tipped our little Ikea table on to its side and done it on that.

I provided a tray of craft goodies for William to post – craft sticks, feathers, straws and Pom Poms because no posting activity is complete without Pom Poms 😉

If you want to go totally crazy you can make little posting slides for your little ones, so line up the tubes so things drop down several at once.
