Water Dispenser Play

We tried this activity during lockdown after seeing it on Instagram and it was a lot of fun.

I put our summer water dispenser on the tuff tray along with jugs, bowls, scoops and an ice cube tray.

I filled the water dispenser with water and added sliced lemons.

Who knew the lemons would be the star of the show?! 🙂

William spent ages putting the lemon slices in and out of the water dispenser.

He wasn’t sure when I first turned the tap on and water came tricking out but before long he had his cup their eager to catch the water. Sometimes it went bad in the dispenser other times the plants got a good watering 😉

Before long he also wanted to add other things in their….his cars!

This was an unexpected hit. William was almost 2 in these pics and we’ve done it several times since. So many learning opportunities and above all….good fun!
