Rainbow Rice & Digger Trucks

Hands up if your little loves all things diggers, trucks and vehicles?

I kept this play activity simple (don’t I always!).

On the tuff tray I placed his big toy truck and a cake tin filled with rainbow rice and some scoops.

I also added some scoops, containers and an empty cartoon to add to the play.

Our pretty rainbow rice was mixed up within seconds! William spent a good 10 minutes scooping, pouring, tipping the rice out of the truck, throwing a few handfuls here and there and standing on the rice so it stuck to his socks!

At the end of the play I swept up all the rainbow rice and popped it back in the tin for another day.

Warning – is your toddler a throw? Be warned you will be finding rainbow rice under they at 18 as it has a habit of getting everywhere! Have a dustpan and brush at the ready and only do the activity on a day you can handle what might happen 😉
