Rainbow Rice Number Dig

Recently I’ve been introducing visual numbers to William.

For a quick fun activity to get him interested I hid foam numbers in a bake tin filled with rainbow rice.

This cheeky toddlers task? Dig around and pull out the numbers.

As he pulled them out I would say the number. This was a great way to get William involved with numbers and can be repeated in so many different ways.

Hide the numbers in black beans, in lentils, in dry pasta, ok you get the picture, pretty much any sensory dry base will do!
