Find the Dinos

Have you used a muffin tin yet in your play?

Oh my goodness its my FAVE go to piece of play equipment.

For this activity perfect for toddlers, I filled a cupcake muffin tray with rainbow rice and in each hole I hid a little dinosaur.

This was a big hit!

It encourages your little to dig in the holes to see what they can find. Watch their face light up as they find their treasure! In this case dinos but you could sue anything your little one likes. I used rainbow rice as it’s such an inviting colour, what child (or adult!) could resist 😉

I provided a spoon and it was great scooping practise.

I love this photo I captured of William as I think it sums up perfectly play with children. For a good 5 minutes he was more interested in the letter board than the activity!
