Animal Sticker Sort

I picked up a bag of animal stickers from Hobbycraft and didn’t realise they would get so much play. We haven’t even used them as stickers yet 🙂

For this toddler activity I simple popped the animal stickers on the tuff tray and as William picked up a sticker I would tell him the name of the animal.

I also encouraged him to match the animals by saying “oh here’s a frog, I wonder if we can find another frog that looks the same?” I would then pretend to look and William would find one 🙂

He enjoyed putting the animal stickers in the basket and tipping them out again. in fact I think that was his favourite but in true toddler style!

This was a fun quick activity to expand Williams knowledge of animals. But more than anything William had a bit of fun and mama got to drink a hot cuppa whist sat across from him playing. That’s a win in my book.
