Easter Egg Water Play

Every year at Easter shops sell plastic Easter eggs which you can usually open and fill with goodies. Snap them up!

Oh my goodness these are one of my BEST buys.

They are super versatile and can be used in so many different activities year round, that I recommend you stock up.

I picked some up from Hobbycraft, Home Bargains and the £1 shop. I got all different colours including gold…so pretty!

For a quick toddler play activity I added a few drops of red food colouring to a tub of water, added the plastic eggs and a scoop for William to fish them out.. Oh and a bowl and a plate because why not?! 😉

This is a great sensory activity that also works on hand eye coordination (gotta keep your eye on those eggs to be able to coordinate your hand movements to use the scoop at the right time and place).

A simple, fun and easy toddler activity that you can set up in minutes.
