Bug Hotel

William is still really enjoying playing with his bugs. In fact I’m running out of new ideas as he plays with them that much!

For this activity I took a cardboard shoe box, filled it with cardboard tubes (loo and kitchen roll) and popped his bugs inside.

Voila William has his very own bug hotel!

I have seen so many real bug hotels for kiddies online and I love them and plan on making one next year with William when he’s a little older. For now though this recycled bug hotel worked a treat!

William particularly enjoyed putting the bugs in and out the holes. Even better once the play has run its course and your little one doesn’t play with it you can recycle it into something else. It’s currently being used as a car parking garage!
